Rock climbing

My husband and I took a morning trip to Peggy's Cove yesterday. With it being about 30 minutes away from our apartment, it was the perfect place to spend a sunny morning. I didn't think the ocean could be closer than it was to our last apartment (40 mins to Kouchibuguac) so I was excited when we arrived at our destination.

Talk about beautiful!

It was a pretty spectacular day. There were also two bagpipers and an accordion player at the foot of the lighthouse. I loved it! What you don't see in these pictures is all the rocks I had to climb. Needless to say, my husband was much faster and more "agile" than I was! 

The smell of the salty sea was so great. It made the hour we stayed there seem like a little vacation! We will definitely be back soon. Here are two more shots I got on the way back to the car. Perfection!
